I wanted to thank you so much for your site...it really helped me to clear up a lot of questions I had about psychic con artists...
I wanted to post another psychic con artist on your real stories page to warn other people...
Unfortunately, I fell prey to a horrible manipulative woman who in the end scammed me out of $20,000 in NYC over the past 2 1/2 years. Her name is Maria Marks (but her store front psychic name is Claudia Eli). A sketchy basement apt on 51st between 2nd and 3rd ave in Manhattan.
She has 3 children (Summer, Sky and Danielle) her husband doesn't live with her, but her brother does (His name is David (Michael) Marks and that whole family is NOT to be trusted!
After reading all these scam stories....i realized that these gypies are taking advantage of many many vulnerable people.
Fortunately I was able to get all my money back and pay off all my deblt that she put me in.
The police arrested her and it turns out that she had prior convictions in Philly and in California.
I feel like a huge burden has been lifted off my shoulder and I wish I had been able to find this informative internet (gypsy scam) site earlier. But I am soo grateful for finding yours now.
She pulled the knot in the thread trick on me, also the blood in the water jar trick on me. I feel betrayed by someone I really thought cared about me and was my friend.
Besides draining me financially, she completely drained me emotionally. .. Playing on my fears, my faith and trust.
She is on probation this year....but i know she has many more clients that she is doing this to...
So if you or any one else you know goes to see a psychic named Claudia on 51st, BEWARE!!!
