Dear Readers,
I
wish to tell you my story of being scammed for close
to fifty-thousand dollars by a so called Gypsy / Psychic
/ Spiritualist that lives in Sarnia, Ontario (Canada).
She
goes by the name of Mary's Psychic Card & Palm Reader.
She goes by two names: Mary Demitro or Mary Young
and please watch out for this one! This person preys
on the naive and the elderly. This experience took
about 5 years for me to finally wake up and be really
suspicious at her methods and her surroundings.
The
shame and guilt I feel is tremendous and never ending
. How in the world did this happen to me and worst
of all is, I punish myself over and over again asking
the question of how I could have been so stupid
and so suckered in for all those years. Not only
did she
victimize me but I find myself victimizing my self
worth and trust in human kind again and again ,
questioning every flaw about myself Not only did
this scum of
the earth take my money but I handed it over to
her with trust as one human being to another. I have
been
stripped of what little self worth and self dignity
I have left. The sad thing about all this is you
can not comprehend it or understand it until it
happens
to you! The victims of this crime are abused emotionally
and psychologically and abused financially.
She
runs her scam through the house she rents at East
Str in Sarnia, Ontario, and I being curious wanted
to see what it would be like to have a reading. Well
I went one summer day and had a reading that would
change my life forever. She is a small petite Romanian
Woman innocent looking enough but very forceful and
intimidating at the same time. She did the Tarot
Reading for me in a small secluded room with all her
Religious
Artifacts about the room making it look like she
did God's work and not the Devil's work or practice
any
Evil. She has candles and oils that she sells for
outlandish prices. Her fee is $50.00 or so I thought,
little did I know it would cost me more. She told
me that I was cursed and that evil surrounded me,
that
was brought upon me by my enemies who are evil people.
She told me to remove the curse that it would cost
me $2,000.00 dollars and that she could remove it
with her psychic abilities and her spirit guides.
Well I can not tell you the terror that woman put
in me. Its like these people see or find defects
in your personality and prey upon them. They try to
gain
your trust with religion and spirituality. Well what
turn out to be two - thousand at the start turned
out to be fifty- thousand and she knew I had the
money.
She
would always ask for cash and stated she did not
take checks because it did not have the same vibrations
as cash did. She did these ceremonies with this incense
that she would wisk over my head and body and light
these candles chanting some sort of prayer. Well
the
rest of this sad but true story is to embarrassing
to go into detail about. I will say one thing though
when I did start to question everything, I called
the police to report her and they stated to me that
I would have to press charges and then my name and
my family name would be in the papers and if that
was not bad enough my family runs a business in this
city. Just the thought of humiliation and shame for
myself and my family I could not bear. So dear readers
I bear the shame all alone and she got away with
it to victimize another. You see, these people who
run
these scams rely upon the emotions of guilt and shame
in their victims not to come forth, especially those
who have so much to lose. So Please Be Warned!
