I was scammed by a gyspy this week. I'm an author so I paid up for the first "reading" chalking it up to book research, but mixing all her religious metaphors (the "I'm a born-again Christian" thing -- which would probably piss off people who do actually consider themselves born-against, plus her telling me that my chakras were all out of balance -- well, that's Hindu, right?).
I'm an actress, too, so for the price of the reading -- which was way too much for an investigative lark -- I went along with it.
After reading the info on your website, with some of the typical phrases, etc., enumerated, it's quite clear that it was a gypsy scam. When she told me that God wanted me to do some sort of ritual with a roll of white paper towels (to represent purity), a dozen red or white roses (growth), a banana (my body), and ... $2700 ... I was out of there. Also, the $100 bills were to be placed in the sign of a cross -- and I'm not a Christian. I told Gia that, and she immediately backed off and said that the bills could be placed in a straight line.
So, warning to anyone in NYC, particularly on the Upper West Side, about a woman calling herself Gia.
