I have read through most of your website, and I was shocked at the similarities of your story to mine. Here are the details of my story. I am 25 years old and have never had a relationship that lasted over 4 months. Out of fun while with some friends, we decided to go to a psychic advisor earlier this year. The shop I went to is on Broadway and Cornelia, in the Lakeview neighborhood of Chicago. The woman who did my first reading is named Jackie.
She told me things that I felt were specific to my life, but deep down I knew that the things she said could have been told to anyone. She said that there were 2 men, one from my past and one from my future, who care deeply for me. I could not think of who she might have been referring to, but I had an idea. She told me that I would soon be with someone who I would not expect, who I've known a while, who will immediately tell me how he feels about me, and who will accommodate me for a short time. Well, a few weeks later, a friend from college (who lives in the basement of my apartment building) expressed his feelings for me, and we began dating. It only lasted a month, but I was convinced that the psychic could help me from that day on.
She had advised that I come back to her for a full reading. I did, only this time, it was not her, but her 17 year old daughter, Stephanie. I was hesitant because I expected the mother (whom I assumed would have more knowledge and experience), but I went along with it. The daughter seemed okay, and she also seemed to enjoy my friendship. During the session, she said that the reason I have such bad luck with men is because there is a "negative energy" or "spirit" that does not want me to be happy. I asked her how it got there, and she claimed that someone was jealous of my parents, and placed it on them. She said the only way to remove this energy was to have her and other "church" members meditate with candles placed in special candleholders from Canada. These candles were supposedly to clear this energy. Unfortunately for me, she said it costs $1000. I told her right away that I did not have this money. She said she did not expect it right away, but in small payments of cash only, when I could. I reluctantly agreed, and went right to the ATM across the street to give her 200 dollars. This has been going on since earlier this year.
I visit with her to talk about my progress (which is little to none in relationships), and to give her money when I can. She promised that by the end of the year, I will be in a relationships with my soulmate. There was one time, when she called me to ask for money for an "emergency". She didn't tell me what it was, except that it was family related. I scrounged up what little money I did have, leaving myself even less to get food to eat. This only happened once.
Then, yesterday, we met again, only it was in a different location in which she moved a couple of months ago. It is on Diversey and Pine Grove, close to Lake Shore Drive. I've met with her there a few times. She had given me candles and crystals for me to meditate with everyday, which I have not done except on occasion. Yesterday, when we met, she told me something was going wrong in the process. She said my timing was off, and that I won't meet my soulmate until up to a year and a half from now. She said that in order to help the process, she and another elder from the church would have to find a "men's watch of wealth" to meditate with, that I would have to pay for. I told her that I may not be able to do it, but I would try to work with her and I would get back with her to let her know. Because of this request, I had become very suspicious last night, and went to search the Internet for psychic scams. I found your sight very informative and decided to write you.
Also, Robert Ely, one of the 4 men in those pictures that had been arrested for certain crimes, looked very similar to her father, who I caught of glimpse of last night for the first time while talking with her.
